A Letter To Our Community

To the Summit community:

As we all adjust to our new realities, we hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy.

During this time of social distancing and isolation, it has never been more apparent how vital community is to our personal, professional, and emotional wellbeing. Human connection and shared experiences aren’t just important, they are necessary.

The greatest lesson for us has been just how fortunate we are to have the Summit community. This is a community of do-ers – of both radical innovation and radical kindness. We are a resilient group that believes in creating a new way forward, especially in times of greatest need.

In different ways, we are all being asked to rethink what community means to us. At Summit, we’ve had to take a step back from in-person experiences – we’ve postponed Summit at Sea and our Summit Mountain Series winter weekends, and Powder Mountain has closed early for the season. But this has also presented an opportunity to find innovative ways to connect our community. We are pivoting our strategy and coming back stronger than before, and we are incredibly excited to build the future of Summit with you.

Even in the midst of isolation, we are in this together. We want to support you however we can, and we invite you to go the extra mile to be there for one another. Please reach out to hello@summit.co if there's any way we can help you, or if you'd like to offer your support to others in our community.

With gratitude,

The Summit Team
